Advanced Research Workshop Series: Intro to Databases: Filemaker Pro

This workshop is intended to give a general overview of Filemaker Pro and answer the questions what is a database and when to use one. The workshop will cover basic and advanced topics such as creating tables, fields, and layouts; importing and exporting data; performing calculations; and automating with scripts.

• If you wish to follow along in the workshop please have the latest version of FileMaker Pro, or FileMaker Pro demo installed.
• Important: The current CLICC laptops do not have FileMaker Pro installed.
